The Start Yachting Weekend course is designed for beginner sailors who want to experience sailing on a yacht for the first time. Fun and enjoyment are emphasized to make sure participants feel comfortable and don't want to leave at the end of the course.
Your patient instructor will guide you through safety procedures and ensure you feel confident and at ease on the yacht before setting sail. You will learn the basics, be supported throughout, and be able to steer the yacht, handle rope work, hoist sails, sail a basic course, and stay safe onboard.
Friendly and experienced instructors, who understand the feelings of first-time sailors, run the weekend course. They will provide the necessary support and guidance to ensure that you feel comfortable and confident on the yacht.
