    "Why should you consider getting your license in the Netherlands rather than in the comfortable Mediterranean? Because schooling in the Netherlands is a bit like going to the gym with every imaginable piece of equipment, thanks to the extremely strong tidal currents and abundance of shallow waters, not to mention the very busy marine traffic and all kind of weather, including potentially very strong winds. When you obtain your license at Moss Sailing in the Netherlands, you will have the ability to charter a sailing yacht anywhere in the world. I'm not certain if the same applies if you get a license in the Mediterranean. I acquired my license under Marco in 2013, and as a result, I've sailed over 5000 nautical miles and counting, of which 2000+ miles were with my son. He started when he was just 9 months old and has now become an experienced sailor. We've had the pleasure of sailing on a fully equipped yacht, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing and fun, all thanks to our very professional trainer, Marco. Today, it's not just about the miles and magic, but also the 10+ years of friendship we've built with Marco. It's always a joy to meet him and his students at various harbors, each rich in history, charm, and fabulous food in the Netherlands. Can't thank enough!
